Hello
I am looking for plans and construction drawings with files for the four stroke engine
(V8 - V6 - 4and6 CYL in line ) to work with 4-axis cnc (if possible in metric )

thanks

Tony

Plans are available for the Little Demon V8 at ministeam.com.

You will have to do some Googleing but there is also the shillings V8.

Gbritnell offers plans for many different engines including a few on your list.

Jerry Howell's son still offers many of his dads creations.

If you get more specific on what you would like we would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply . I am looking for plans, which I can do with cnc, I have always built only with lathe and milling machine, I would like to improve my hobby.
these are some jobs that I have worked on

Tony,
I assume you are aware of this, but I'll say it just in case.... I've only ever seen plans for sale. Although many of these most certainly were designed in a CAD system (there are a few old school folks here, but most have moved to SolidWorks, Alibre, or Fusion), I know of no plans that will give you the CAD model. Therefore, you will have to draw the plans again in your CAD system so that you can generate your G-code from CAM. I just want to set your expectations correctly....

Your pictures look beautiful. Congratulations on some nice engines!

Tony,

Welcome to HMEM. You build very nice engines. I especially like the inline 4 cylinder. What are the bore and stroke dimensions?
If you have a photo of the intake and exhaust side, would you please post it.

Thanks.

Chuck

Not only will you need to redraw plans as CAD/CAM files are not available but you will have to make any modifications needed to make them suitable for CNC machining be that converting from a cast part to one that can be cut from solid or finding another way to replicate cores, undercuts etc. It is not too hard to do, I've done it several times working from model drawings that are up to 80 years old or simply from a photo of an engine.

So basically any of the published designs over the years can be made on a CNC you just need to update them to your needs.
