i went to my dads yesterday and he was cleaning up his shop and came across a model i started when i was allot younger.
it is a model of a 1/8th scale george white traction engine, i got the castings from a great guy (john crook) when i was 12 years old. he scaled down a full sized engine, made all the patterns and got the iron castings done at the bomanville foundry here in ontario.
it has been sitting at dads for the last 15 years in a box under his bench.
the boiler is 4" dia copper and it is 18 1/2" long. the rear wheels are 7 1/2" dia x 2 1/4" wide.
it is now on my ungoddy long list of things to do........ ;D :big:
