I built this when I was a novice machinist.I needed a quick grade and three days of study at the Anapolis Navel Academy Library yeilded this.Its a single acting single cylinder steam engine that hits 12,000rpm.It has three moving parts including rotary valve, piston, crank rod.No seals are used or needed as the inconel drive shaft and block are designed for optimum clearance at running temperatures.
