For 10 years or more people believed me... Compare this with my "60-year old" Avocet or whatever you call it. PD_0032.JPG The bleached beard gives it away...

And the place where the motorbike is screwed.

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be.
I enjoy humour. No time for anything less! Life is so short, that by the time I stop laughing at life I'll have been dead a long while before... I Hope! Life - and the actual awareness/comprehension of life, is too incredible to try and imagine, so I simply accept that here we are, so enjoy it! A head full of happy hormones can still cry, but not remain "down" for long. But without Happiness, why do we exist? (To ride Guzzis is an acceptable answer - but that is a means to an end = Happiness!). Growing old should never be a sad thing. It is simply a passing of the exchange of time for memories and experience, the gaining of new loved ones and losing older loved ones, but that is just nature ensuring we all have a go at enjoyment.
If you believe you are young (as we all are in the impossibly long time the universe has existed) ir stays with you, and people do say "he may have been old, but still young at heart". That's my ambition. To stay young at heart.
Herendeth today's lesson. - Take it with the usual pinch of salt, reality, or Whatever.

My wife occasionally claims that I'm childish.

I have to admit that I do that occasionally.
I get on very well with children. I have two granddaughters aged 13 and 14 and a grandson aged 10. Unfortunately, they have no interest at all in my hobby. Only the oldest granddaughter is already saving up for her motorbike driving licence.

My wife quit calling me "childish" as I admit to being 12 years old and actually I look 25.
