Hi all,I have a Maximat V10. Apart from the obvious oil levels, does anybody perhaps have advice on the care for the sliding parts ? The oil 'wash' of with the coolant during operation. Any special care and advice please ?

Jig-a-loo is a known one, most of the silicone lube is find in the wooden department, it's often use to lube wooden drawer

What about the multi purpose or electrical water repellent spray lube ? I have't seen the names you mention in South Africa, but I use a product called Q20. www.qmaxxproducts.com Do you think that the protection/lubrication quality is good enough ? The next question is where to draw the line during a workday. After how long do you clean up, dry up, apply lube, and then proceed with your work? Perhaps I am splitting hairs now ?

it's not a penetrating oil product
as for me I always spray everything after the day is done
