this is my first build. it's from the recommended set of plans from this site. going really well so far. i have learned an incredible amount, thanks to you all. much more expensive than i anticipated. always is . has taken a lot longer than i anticipated, waiting for tools and such to ship. but, omg, so satisfying. I really thought is would be a feeling of power, shaping metal to my will, but it is much more zen than that. I'm hooked.

thought these pics were funny. that's my boy. hopefully some of this satisfaction is osmonating to him.

Congratulations on getting a start and some satisfaction out of what you set out to do. If your smile is as big as your son then you have to be one happy camper. Good luck with the rest of the build, we will be watching and waiting. th_wav
