Every time I leave a memory stick in one of the USB ports of my Dell computer, when I restart I get that message. I'm running IE7 or maybe 8, I may have upgraded unintentionally.
Is there a way to make it go away or make that port valid?
Thanks

It sounds like you USP Port is being looked at as a boot device.

You need to go to the setup menu, when you start the computer, by pressing the "Setup" key while the computer is booting. It will be an "F" key and will be noted on the screen for a short time during the initial boot up.

Once you get to the setup screen, you need to look at the boot order section and uncheck the "boot from USB port" option. It may just say "Boot from port" or something similar to that.

Hope this helps, and happy Holidays to you and yours,
George
