Hi, I am a very amateur hobby machinist. I retired ten years ago, and I enjoy making model steam engines. I have had a look at the beautifully made beam engine models. I am looking for a set of metric drawings to save conversion.
Thanks
John

Welcome John, glad to have you.

I am not a metric person, but don't have beam drawings either.

I have been working on a 3D model for one of the side beam engines for the US Naval Boat "Mississippi".

And I have a few old prints of beam engines.

Perhaps someone here can help you out.

I shall keep that in mind.

Welcome,
Depending on the complexity you are looking for try searching the net under julius de waal plans, you should find a number of beam engine designs and he works mostly in metric.
