HMEM,

This site just continues to get better and better! Look at the projects of the month, works in progress, how to's and tooling projects. The amount, as well as, the quality of information shared by the members of this site is more then impressive. Couple all of this with the newbie friendly attitude and the lack of " I am a God of machining and your not" attitude and it makes for one very special place.

A big thanks to: Rick, the moderators and the members for making it what it is.

Thanks,
Bob

Notch,
I'll second that woohoo1 for HMEM
Tony

You'll get no argument from me either.

It's the only reason I'm here...the people.

It may sound simplistic but it includes so much: the sharing, the camaraderie, the learning, the teaching, the showing off (yes that too).

I second the thanks. And thank you Bob (90XL_Notch)

yes ill second all the second here. this is a GREAT place for newbies like my self and i for one would like to very much THANK Rick for this wonderful site & THANK everyone of the members here for being so nice to us newbies that don't know nuttin & ask the same darn ?s over & over. you all make this a very nice place to call home (or should i say HMEM ) you all share such wonderful knowledge to us all.
 Rick THANK YOU  MEMBERS THANK YOU  To all of you who make this such a pleasure to be here

 THANK YOU VERY MUCH

To be effective, moderation has to be relentless but gentle. It's nice to know that you all think we're threading that needle effectively.

That said, the people here are really exceptional and that's what really keeps the place warm and friendly. My theory is that making little engines either requires mellow people or causes them to become mellow if they aren't already.

I don't post here much but I read it every day (almost!).

I have to agree with Notch and the rest of you. Great place.

Pete (still learning enough to start his first engine)

Just jump right in and start one Pete, the man who never made a mistake is the man who never made anything!

Oh, I'm not afraid of mistakes. My scrap pile is as big as anyones. I'm still learning the details of ignition and stuff as used on these old types of engines.

I grew up wrenching on '49 Chevy's and such and that's all simple, but I've not spent any time, until recently, looking at this ancient stuff. ;D

Thanks,
Pete
