Hello everyone,
I bumped into this forum by chance a few days ago, and have spent a pleasant few hours exploring.
I have just registered and am here to introduce myself, as I understand is the thing to do first.
I am 62 years old and have been modelmaking and model engineering all my life, started with Airfix kits and have
tried all forms of Aeromodelling from rubber power up to radio control and everything in between.
I got my first lathe, a Myford ML7 when I was 18, for the princely sum of £139.00 brand new, and still have
it, I have made many accessories for it over the years.
Recently took an interest in CNC and have converted an old round column mill, and more recently purchased square column mill
and have converted that to CNC, also just finished building a 2' x 4' CNC router, ( seem to spend most of my time building machines
or tools for them). Will try to post a few pics of things that I have made in the near future.
