I've not built an engine since my school days aw designed in tech drawing lessons and built in metal work lessons s very basic Steam engine my goal is to build a static beam engine on my Axminster bv20m although I'm slightly hampered by having suffered a strokeshich basically took my left side but have since taught my self to use daft sight a 2d design and draught ingredients package my first project is to make an adapter for a multi fix quick change tool post then I need to make a new nut for the tailstock then machinist hammer my previous lathe was a 1919 Drummond admiralty model treadle lathe but owing to the stroke I had to go electric due to the age and history of the Drummond I couldn't be the person to electrify it so sold it a very sad day it was good enough to reunion some clock wheels other hobbies include clay shooting rc helicopters isn't currently fly but have kept slimy gear and playing guitar which I can no longer doubt won't sell my guitars as I intend to play again one day that's me in a nutshell
