Hello, I have been a member lurking here for a few weeks. I am new to model engines but have been around full sized ones all my life. A little on my background, My father has passed down the machine trade to me although I am a diesel mechanic by trade i am a hobby machinist in my free time. I just recently purchased the 1/4 scale Gade from Martin Model and Pattern for my first scale model.

Welcome to the group. Model engine building is a lot of fun and there is always something to learn from the hobby. Gary Martin's Gade is a nice engine.

What part of KS are you located in? I grew up near Hope, KS, though now I live in IL.
