Hello all. I'm glad I found this forum. Long story short, I've always been interested in mechanical things in general and engines are one of those things.

I'm currently working as a teacher's assistant in the CNC/Manual machine shop class at a community college in CNY. I'm looking to get into this hobby of building model engines etc.

I would appreciate it if you all could give me some advice though. I'll elaborate in a proper forum. Thanks!

firebirdgangsta, what Community College do you work at? I am originally from Sidney, NY and still have family near there. I may move back in my old age.
