Hi!

I would like to introduce myself to the auditorium.
My name is Tom, as stated above I am from Austria, Europe.
In my workshop I already have a mill (actually it is not really a sophisticated one, it is more like a drill press) and a small lathe.
Normally I use my machines for stuff when repairing things at my house. The last project is, to build my own CNC machine to mill PCB instead of etching.

Enclosed some pictures...

Regards

Tom

Thanks for welcoming me!

Well I would like to build a little Stirling engine, actually the printed plans are already on my desk.
There are just a few things I am missing to build one

- time (as almost everybody), I am just building my house.
- some raw materials, which will not be a problem to get
- useful machinering tools for lathe and mills - as I am planning a trip to Hongkong in the near future I am looking for a place to get some stuff (see here: http://www.homemodelenginemachinist.com/index.php?topic=15069.0. I know there are places where you can get an enormous amount of electronic parts, look here http://www.sparkfun.com/news/572. For an hobby electronic technician its almost like heaven :)
