Hi,
I've been interested in miniature engines for the last 7-8 years. So far I haven't built anything myself but I'm getting to the stage where I would like to setup my workspace to enter the hobby.
I'm a Mechanical Engineer by profession, which is probably the reason for my interest in this subject matter.
I'm not afraid to say I don't possess the skills that a lot of you have. The last time I used any metal working equipment would be close to 20 years ago when I started studying Engineering. Nonetheless, I have acquired several machinist friends through my work that I would be able to ask for help.
One of the engines that has really caught my interest is the "Peewit" Horizontally opposed 4 cylinder by Eric Whittle. I will attempt some simpler builds before tackling this one however.
Cheers
Anthony
