Harbor freight mini lathe help!

My harbor freight mini lathe spindle suddenly turns free as the motor is running. I took of the end panel and no gears appear broken. How do you get to the spindle that holds the chuck? I think a pin might have sheared off. Thanks!

Does your mini lathe have the H/L gear shift lever on the back side of the machine?

I have seen things go wrong with that in the past.

I took the lathe apart, and found the hi/lo gear in pieces. It was a little tricky getting it apart, but I ordered the new gear today, and hopefully I will be able to get it back together in a week or so.
