Getting too old for this...

Spent Friday and Saturday babysitting the grand kids. Gotta say, this activity made me feel every one of my 68 years!

But, clearly, they loved it!

Man you are going about the task all wrong. you need to let the young energetic ones help with the pedaling . how is are your welding skills make one of these. or buy one from trail a bike . they also have accesories for smaller kids

Cfellows, you sure don't look your age are and looks like you are in good shape so with those compliments and that great pose, let's get on down the street and around the block until they tire out, well maybe not, gool looking group, have fun in a few years they will be about there way instead of a bike ride or giving you a ride they will be wanting some money, how would I know that ???, Lathe Nut

Gee! Chuck with that smile on your face I would say you were enjoying it. But those kids do put some wear on our old bodies don't they. Mine are just about all in there teens now and no way I can keep up with them.

You are never to old to learn. Those grand kids will help you stay young. Right now, I'm teaching a three year old great grand daughter how to swim and she is busy teaching me about trust and courage and responsibility. She is also teaching me about jumping (how quick and how high). I can keep up but its not easy. I love it!

My kids have taught me those things too!....and although I look forward to grandkids....I'm too busy enjoying mine at the moment.

Last Christmas I taught the 15 YO grandkid to make a wobbler. Next month I teach him to sail (bluewater). I'm not sure who is learning here.
