I started this engine in October 2018. It's been really fun building this engine. I made several mistakes along the way and learned a lot in the process. All I need to do now is tweak out the ignition and the fuel system and build a radiator. Opps maybe I should build radiator first then do the tweaking.

I just had to see if was going run before starting on the radiator.

BTW I used o-rings on the pistons.

Thank to George Britnell for sharing

Nicely done George! A project to be proud of ... the rest will be “icing on the cake”

Looks great Gary! If you built the advance setup for the distributor you can unhook it initially until you find the best timing position. I think my engine runs best between 15-25 degrees advanced. It's good to see some others out there!

Nice job. I have the plans for this engine and I hope when I get around to building it it comes out half as nice as yours.

Great job and thanks for sharing.

I'm interested in learning about o'ringed pistons. Material, hardness, etc. Certainly removes a great deal of tolerance fitting rings require.
