am very impressed with the site

i am nowhere near the skill level of what i have seen so far but I am learning a lot from what i have seen so far
and am happy with that.

Skill level??? Believe me, we all started from the bottom. Here we don't care if you are just learning how to spell machinist or are a master at the craft, all input and questions are welcomed. Make your self at home!

make some metal chips
have fun and before you know it you will have useable parts and then an engine.
This is easy stuff any Five Year Old can do it with Ten + years experience. LOL

I used to have a block of dirt at Sofala not far from you but had to sell it after i left the Army.

Sydney based now but hope to get back to the bush one day.
I followed one fellows link to his weebly homepage and have decided
the small scotch collar design will be my first build when i get home to Sydney

My only concern with you Aussies is you may build something upside down or backwards, but as long as it runs and looks good, no worries.
I joke about that but one of my engines is actually a mirror image of the print I used. Not a mistake!!It is a modification LOL
