Hi there all, unfortunately due to needing the money I am having to sell my proxxon PD230 Lathe with PF230 milling attachment. I work at a tool shop and I have had this effectively from new. It was ordered in for someone over 10 years ago and they decided they didnt want it. It ended up at the back of the warehouse with piles of stuff on it until early last year when I found it while cleaning out. I then made and offer for it and it came home with me. I have used it twice for small brass bushings, but there are a few pieces I wanted to make for it but never got round to doing them. And now with great regret it has come to time that I need to sell it. It is a perfect little lathe that is very precise and so useful for small things.
It needs a service due to being sat in a warehouse for so long but it isnt anything that some wet and dry paper cant sort out. During the time it was stored the small milling table and the chuck key have gone missing. (I planned to just drill some holes in the chuck and use two small pieces of bar for tightening). The autofeed also needs a look at. I determined that the pin on the selector just needs to be made about 1.5mm longer I think.
Whats included is
- Proxxon PD230 Lathe
- Proxxon PF230 Milling attachment
- Left hand Tungsten carbide cutting tool
- Right hand Tungsten carbide cutting tool
- 2 Tailstock Chucks with arbours (arbours need cutting to length to fit in the tailstock)
- A single collet for the milling machine
- A cheap silver steel parting off tool
- Standard 3 jaw chuck
- Standard tool post
I will try get some pictures up of it soon and update if there is anything I have forgotten.
Here is some info from proxxon about the Machine
I would like to get £500 ONO for it as it is near brand new (all internals are like new). Drop me a message if there is anything more you would like to know.
Regards
Jordan N.
