Ron C. has posted a group shot of some of Eric Whittle's engines. If some of you don't already know Mr. Whittle passed away. Someone from another forum has posted this information. I had the pleasure of meeting him many years ago at the NAMES show when it was held at the Yack arena in the Detroit area. He was a meticulous builder and a nice gentleman to talk to.
At the show someone stole one of his engines and within the building community the word went out far and wide. Shortly after the engine turned up non the worse for wear.
In this case it had a fortunate ending.
Rest in Peace Mr. Whittle.
