I was cleaning around my shop and have decided I won't be building this kit, so it's on the block. This is a kit by Dennis Howe of the Joy's valve steam engine. I bought this a few years ago and haven't done any machining on anything. All the casting I received with it when purchased are included. The base is almost two feet long with 9 1/4" flywheels. This is a big kit. The plans are CAD generated and look to be quite detailed. I I don't know the cost of shipping this as it's probably pushing 80 lbs or so. It would be very expensive. I live in Columbus Indiana and do make trips to Indianapolis, Louisville, and Cincinnatti from time to time so there could be a potential of picking up there. I do plan on being at Cabin Fever in January so that might be an option as well. If you want it shipped just ask and I can get a price. If you have any questions or want a close up picture of anything just ask. I will sell for $900.

Thanks for looking,
Martin

I have a build thread on this engine. The most challenging parts are the conrods and boring the cylinders, but it is a good runner. 80 lbs might be slightly low.

Castings are good quality.
