Here is an iron pour I did in 2013.
This was my second iron pour attempt, and I had any number of blunders in this pour.
In 2013, I really had very little idea of how to do it all, and was just sort of stumbling my way through the melt and pour.
I did not know how to tune an oil burner, how to skim the melt correctly, etc.
This was a learning method I call "trial-by-fire".
I did get a very nice flywheel out of this pour.
