Someone started a thread about what Santa brought. And rather than hijack the thread. I decided to start this one.
what was or will be for Christmas dinner.
This year was a bit unusable but quite tasty, ans festive.
we had Rabbit roasted with small potatoes and carrots garnished with herbs . Peas with pearl onions, and gravy. and I finally opened up the bottle of Strongbow cider that has been around for a while.
Yum

A full on day of feasting here - roast turkey, pork and lamb, a glazed ham, huge Christmas pudding, about a gallon of trifle ..... The usual cheese board and snacks!

We sat down 17 for lunch and 14 for dinner.

WOW

As is usual for us just Galina and I yesterday. I did manage a roast turkey.

My daughter Louise and Hubby go to his family for Xmas Day. Today we go to them. Usually it's a BBQ then settle down to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race followed by the cricket. About this time I tend to drift from the scene ::), which is recovery time before the drive home.

New Year is our big night out, this year it's the Ukrainian Club dancing to the wee hours. Then it's Russian Xmas on Jan 7 followed by Old New Year on Jan 14. After this it's off with the decorations and tree ready to do it all again next year.

Best Regards
Bob
