Hello All

I am going to be visiting the UK in Sept/October and I am trying to find a store that might have some live steam goodies. (Mamod etc.)

I might also be interested in casting and plans kit for smaller engine.

I am going to be in the Looe/Polperro area and will have a vehicle available so I could travel a bit if required.

I have been looking on the net but I can't seem to find what I am looking for.

Can anyone give me some links or places to look?

You could try Stuart Models they are in Bridport Dorset www.stuartmodels.com and also Cotswold heritage www.modelsteamenginesuk.com the web will give you the address they sell castings and kits for small stationary steam models

Hi Tom,

Thank You for those links (I think!). As it ends up, we are going to be just a few blocks away from Stuart Models at one point. That could end up an expensive stop. Oh well, as long as I have enough left for a pint I'll be OK.
