This is the other engine that i am selling for my friend. Earl made this steam engine. It is very well made (he is a machinist) and has only been run on air. It says Breisch on the stone wall but, i am not sure if the whole steam engine was made from a Breisch kit or not? I can't find any Breisch steam engines that look like this but, i am not searching for it correctly. Does anyone know how old this steam engine would be are what it is worth?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello SmallHaul,
That's Paul Breisch's Cornwall Blowing Engine and was offered as a kit, complete with the base. Myers Engine Works has the patterns and the kit is listed on their Web site.

The prototype can be found at the Cornwall Iron Furnace near Lebanon, PA
and is pictured here: http://www.cornwallironfurnace.org/tour/furnacetour7.htm

The furnace is beautiful and well worth the stop. (Nice side trip from the Cabin Fever Expo in January.)

One avenue for selling the engine is to enter it in the auction at the Cabin Fever Expo. www.cabinfeverexpo.com

Enjoy,
Todd.

Todd, Lebanon PA is not too far from me (Quakertown PA) and i am looking forward to Cabin Fever being even closer to my home. I am one of the radio controlled construction machine guys that move the dirt around.

Thanks for the links and info. The auctions at Cabin Fever is a good idea. If i don't sell it by then maybe i'll consider that.

Well, i still have not been able to find any of these engines built to compare prices to it.

So, the price is $1,100.00

I don't want to ship it so it will be pick up only (Quakertown PA 18951).

Cash only (no checks)
