Makes sense. I will do that. I am starting to think that this ‘shoulder’ inside should be there? The piston seems to have a shoulder on it….
Jasonb, I turned another long bevel (40 degree incl.) inside the aluminum cylinder. It came out quite well. So, thanks for that advice. Still not sure about the ‘shoulder’ inside…? But am finding that it looks like a the piston head does not fit ‘like a glove’ with this bevel; although both are 40 degrees taper (included). I guess there is room for combustion here? Also, his plans show 20 degrees included but I think it measures 40 degree… …?
Also, Richard, what are your thoughts with respect to how the piston head fits within the Aluminum cylinder? Thanks.
