My hat is off to the late Rudy Kouhoupt for designing some "Easy To Build" engines.
I had the plans for this engine a few years before starting on it and the results were pleasing. To see and hear it run was a joy.
The sound reminds me of my growing up years when the Southern and Seaboard steam locomotives passed through town.
I must give credit for the base of the engine to Bill Lindsey, b.lindsey for his suggestion of using the oak hand rail finish pieces for mounting.
The video may be a bit slow loading, just wait a few seconds and it should start.
