I think these were generators driven by a Stuart Sirius steam engine, but I was thinking they had IC engine kits too.
Not my photos.

But you get the idea, little working engines that could be used for various things if necessary, say during a power outage, or for propulsion.

My uncle had a buckboard made from a Crosly chasis.
We use to pile about 8 kids on it, and he would drive us all around the neighborhood.
I don't have a photo of it, but it was made mostly from wood.
He had an 8 hp Briggs and Stratton on the front of it, with a belt clutch.

Looked a lot like this one.
Not my photos.

Yes, this is why I build engines

They did do small fractional horse power Ic engines as well as some larger often marine IC engines.

This is their 1/4HP small power engine that could have been hooked up to a dynamo. 8-9" flywheels

Unfortunately not though there would be quite a few takers if they did but talking with them they have no plans to bring any of th eold obsolete kits back to the market:(

I would like to buy one of each kit, unfortunately it would be a fortune in iron and I don't have a fortune of gold, platinum or plutonium. We all lament the fact that so few kits are made that the cost is outragious. Too bad.
