dear all,
i want to make 2 stand 8" flattening mill.
i want to ask which material is needed for making rollers and what hardness needed for this.

Honestly I have no idea what you are talking about here!
 
If you make a simple 3 wheel pyramid roller the rolls can be just mild steel
Can be used for rolling or Flattening.You cn buy cheap chinese 3 in 1
models for rolling,folding and guillotining.If they will suffice its not worth
the effort making one,if you want it for use rather than as a model
Footnote- Norman i thought an English wheel was a stretcher for
forming compound curves ??? Regards Barry

Maybe this is it. It will be interesting to see what he is actually talking about, I drew a complete blank when first reading the post.
 
IP is from Pakistan so I expect an engineer or college student looking for advise.
Think we should actually answer his question? Probably should look it up.

How about one of these I have one in my shop so should be able to answer an questions also spec sheet and instruction book pdf available from Grizzly.

i am looking for roller mill i am not a student i am engineer and want to produce a product used in textile weaving looms called Frame rod.

Have not done much with it also they have a heavier version now.
