Oil pan casting had some sand pullout due to not enough tamping and not enough sanding of pattern.

Interesting. Why 22 and 36 rather than 18/36? I'm used to a 2:1 ratio for the timing gears, but I'm guessing maybe this has to do with the fact that it is an odd number of cylinders?

The 36 is the idler gear the crank is 22 tooth and the cam is 44 tooth.
