Thanks to all for the advice... I think that I will try using a die and seeing how it goes... I'm a bit concerned about getting it threaded perfectly straight, since if I don't, the chuck will be off... but it's worth a try... JH

I don't have a lathe that I can thread with, and was sort of thinking that buying a 3/4-16 die and trying to get it perfect would be almost as much as finding someone who has a lathe that threads and could probably make one out of a blank like that pretty quick and pick up a few bucks... :)...

I need an arbor that goes from MT2 to 3/4-16, for my rotary table to take my Taig lathe chucks... If anyone knows where to get one (BTW, LittleMachineShop.com is out, and they don't expect to be getting them anytime soon...) or has one to sell, I would be very interested... Or if anyone would...
