i wasn't going to reply but then i thought why not! marv is a great guy he has helped me out on a few things and is an all around good guy (i think) as far as his humor..........well it is different but it is still his humor. PM'ing the guy that posted the stuff for sale would have been nicer...

looking good so far, and i think .0015" fit is nice and tight, you should have no problems with that. so you use a shaper?? i had a shaper but i traded it for something i thought i needed and now i wish i had the shaper :( they are great little machines. keep up the good work :bow: chuck

good looking crank and con rod brian :bow: sorry i could not help out with the tapered pins but as others have said you should be ok with what you did. you might want to consider a set of 0 to 6" micrometers, there is a store in markham selling the set for less than $100.00. chuck

brian there must still be a scrap yard near you, they sell stuff like that by the pound. you go in and remove it your self. hope this helps chuck
