    Marc, Thanks for the reply. With your hint, I was able to look into some old manuals and determined the following: The drill for the 3/16-24 has a diameter of .1900. The drill for the 10-24 has a diameter of .1875. Tells me that the 10-24 will be a loose fit if the tap of the 3/16 is used...
