I figured out the cam distributor drive gears.... I got the right hand...may need the left...depending on rotation.

It is there..... ill see what I can find, won't be till next saturday tho....

I knew I had them...just had to remember where they were. Full set ofvthe prints for this engine kit.... if one is creative enough one could do it without castings.

This appears to be the first supercharged variant Gary did... he had the original in an RC 32 highboy roadster. Was featured in hot rod magazines swim suit issue in 1987. So that would be the vintage of this kit... 1987- 1990s. Zooming in on the box...post mark is Dec. 5 1988

2k...not a chance..... Honestly.... as long as the prints are there... I'd offer 600.... that has seemed to be the mean price for engine kits.... and the conley is small.... and thats one of the very early kits.... not the 427 or the stinger.

Id be interested if you wish to part with it.... do you know the model number of it? I know Gary. Been to his shop in Wheaton.

Im working on it...just other project are in front of it. So not really a priority right now.

Found and ordered the water pump gears....

I got the castings and a bunch of drawings from Ken eons ago.... and then a bunch of other ones from Paul knapp.... geting other projects finished... but still poke at this as i think about stuff.

Ive figured out the cam/distributor gears and ordered a pair... 45 degree helical... to run perpendicular of each other... pitch diameter fits perefectly in the space provided... i keep poking at it as other stuff progresses... id like to get in touch with Dwight Giles tho...pick his brain directly.

The main rod in process....

Brass billet..... had a large enough chunk.... Gary did not have any of the pulley castings in stock.

Started in on the spokes for the water pump pulley... this morning I'm going to work on the main rod a bit moreand see how far I get on that.

No photos lately.... but crosshead is done and in the process of doing the main rod...

Shoes fit nicely and made the turning spud to get the radius on the shoes. Need to make the little studs that hold the shoes to the crosshead.

Got the cross head done and the big hunk of bronze to cut for the crosshead shoes and conne ting rod big end....
