I’m in the process of building a Mery, it’s a very interesting engine, and you’re right, the castings are very good. I don’t have many pictures and I’m slow at machining, but I’m enjoying the build. Karl

Bob, I'm away from home for awhile, I'll try to post a picture next week. If you're coming to NAMES we could get together to look at your drawings, I'll be there the whole time, and easy to find. 2X drawings would sure help, I tried to draw some parts 10X and sit ll couldn't figure them out. Karl

Hi George, ya lots of issues with drawings. As far as screw sizes,some real problems calling out tap drill size, when in reality he called out clearance drill size, guess what,now the hole is too big to tap,and next size larger screw looks like crap! Should have checked better before I drilled...

I'm also building a 1/8 scale Galloway (Shelly engine), probably 60% done, and have had lots of problems with the drawings. Although I'm making progress, I sure could use new, accurate drawings. Does someone here really have them available? Thanks, Karl

Dave, nice job. I'm also building this vice,need to,finish the jaw inserts. Yours really look great, what depth of cut and spacing did you use? I have also built a power arm for mine, scaled from my 2 1/2" Wilton vise with factory power arm. I'll try to post some Picts of the power arm later...

Hi George,sorry you can't get that engine running, but I'm looking forward to your solutions so that I can get back to work on mine. I made my carb like the ones Phil Duclos used on a number of his engines. Not far enough along to even think about getting mine running. karl
