    Metal suppliers in South Western Ontario

    I agree with metal supermarket but barrie machine has a lot of alu and stainless steel plus sometimes they have a lot of reamers end mills and mill cutters for good deals haven't been in two years though.

    A buddy at work threw full pressure at it. Pressure at work is like 140-150 i stood behind him, he was lucky it held up. I have always wanted to run it on steam but i have just heard way to many warnings from this site. Thanks for the reply. Bronson

    Tail stock - what's safer/better?

    Chuck you must be doing something right you got a new dro system for your lathe at the beginning of page 1 and by the end of page 1 you had a quick change tool post. You have a very nice wife. The engine is also looking very good Bronson

    mill tooling

    I have decided to hold off on a bigger mill for now and get my lathe a little better tooled. Thanks for all the tips on the tooling and when i do get one i will make sure to choose the r8 tooling thanks again. Bronson

    Well thanks for all the replies. I did set the compound at 29.5 degrees but i also agree it was a long thread for the size but i needed it for i boring bar holder i made and made the tool a little to tall but didn't want to have to cut it down so just made a longer thread.
