    Hi i have notice that when cutting the length of a chuck of bar steel alum drill rod what ever i get a threaded look highs and lows of about .0005 i am guessing on that. Spindle speeds and feeds don't seem to change this much. I have checked spindle bearing adjustment. Apron adjustment...

    I just wanted to say that i ordered a wedge tool post from CDCO and am very happy with it i got the set plus 7 extra holders and wish i had ordered more. ;D The company was easy to deal with and shipped fast would use them again. PS. just replace the tool holder set screws they wear fast...

    I just thought i would post this for Canadians looking for small hardware i just ordered 0-80 cap head screws in 2 sizes, set screws and 2-56 in 2 sizes and set screws shipping taxes everything all in qty 50 of bolts and 20 of set screws $40 seem really fare to me...

    I have bought a model b and model a the model b came with quite a bit of stuff but has wear on ways .002 on 12" i paid $400 and $180 for new motor very happy with lathe. The model a i had came with everything and then some full collets chucks tool room lathe on stand under drive paid $1400...
