Verry Nice! The speed is just about perfect.

    Slow runner

I would think: large bore, long stroke, large or heavy flywheel, double acting or multi-cylinder, close tolerances on valving and piston, free running bearings. I like them to run slow also. I want to see all the parts moving and working, the slower the better since I don't think to fast! ;D

    Lawnmower Stub

It's nice to be able to walk away and let them keep their $60 rip off bolt and rely on your own abilities!

MEMSyard Wars - Blast Finger Engine Competition

HAHAHA! I like that - self ejecting safety quick release con rod (pat. pending)! I had a 175cc Can Am dirt bike that had this feature, but the only time it activated was one day when I was flying down the highway at 70 mph. It not only stopped the bike quickly, but cause an immediate release...

    Thru the door

I say it's time for a wider door! A few minutes with a chain saw, problem solved. Think of great shop ventilation you'll have. Nice looking mill (miller).

    My garage shop

Welcome! I haven't been here long myself. Looking at your photo's, I wonder to myself, does anyone actually use their garage anymore as a place to park a car? ??? My little one car garage hasn't seen a auto in it since I moved to this house 13 years ago! Anyway - enjoy this group, I know I do.

MEMSyard Wars - Blast Finger Engine Competition

Well, after viewing the impressive, unusual, and somewhat dumbfounding efforts put forth by the creative members of this group, I can only surmise my thinking remains in side the Box! :-[ Who would of expected an engine made from your neighbors shrubbery, someones lunch, or facial soap and a...

What Are You Up To Today?

As much as I would like to be starting on the finger engine challenge, I instead decided to start on the cheap sand muller I threatened to build some time ago. I want to make it easier to temper my casting sand after and there for start doing some more elaborate engine castings. This may not...
