Why are some pics.....?

Why do some pics in people's posts appear fullsize in the post while others are only attachments at the end of the post?

The full size ones are probably hosted by photobucket and the small ones by a different photo hosting company thats all.
I personally use photobucket

full sized photos are links to a photo hosting site.
the smaller ones are attachments to the post . while attachments of pictures are allowed we prefer folks use photo bucket or other hosting site.

The giant bandwidth-hogging photos, ( like I post ) are hosted offsite, at places like photobucket, while the tiny little postage-stamp-sized thumbnails are direct attachments. ;D
