What is so special with the chainsaw that you see here in the picture?
It is a Norwegian product from 1950 to 1954.
The engine is a 49 cc and produces 4 hp at 4000 rpm.

Hi Greg, you found the Comet engine fast as you can . Yes, it's a semi diesel engine in the chain saw engine. You do not need to have this complicated in this engine when you can run the engine with simple parts instead of using injection and pump. Then the engine sucks the fuel via carburetor and ignites by the glow tube/bulb. Compression ratio is 10:1
