want to buy mt3 crotch center or cross drill jig

id like to buy or find a place i can purchase a crotch center on mt3. if anyone has one they would like to part with let me know. or a fancy cross drilling jig would be nice.

i can paypal or do trade of some sort if anyone is interested. i have a A2Z qctp that id like to get rid of with a few holders for trade if interested.

While a Crotch vee is handy, it is not that friendly, long stock, large dia, all are not tolerated well with a crotch. Do you have a mill? if so get a pair of matched vee blocks with hold downs. The ones I speak of are not the ice cube type, but the larger size with the grooves, and standoffs Starrett #568type. Must be a matched set which is how they are sold new. This type you can remove and install the hold down with the Vee block in the vise. Place block in the vise, put a true round piece of stock in the vee block, then use an edge finder to find center. now set the fixed jaw of the vise, record the distance from center to fixed jaw. Now its a quick setup to use the same V block, facing the same way, and drill on center each time.
