I built Westbury's Sealion and he uses the recessed cup and circlip type and that engine should run rpm up to 10,000

10K rpm - no, I don't believe I'll try that on this engine. I'll be more than satisfied with 1K. At 10K, I think I would see the parts flying out in all directions ...
