Nicely done ... and I like the starting crank (should add one of those to my Upshur T-Head).
 
I'm surprised it runs with the gas tank set this low.
there is no cooling
 
I like this engine very much. I haven't seen this configuration before. I will have to keep this design in mind if I start building engines again in the fall.---Brian

I used corian
 
I have been making spark plugs using Corian for over 20 years. Some of them eventually cracked and stopped working, but it was easy to replace the Corian insulator. I use .035 music wire for the center electrode, and .020 for the ground electrode. They work well. I run my engines all day at the shows, so they have quite a few hours on them.
