In a previous post I recieved a lot of really good advice,it is especially true as to where they are made. I made up a mill holder to fit into the collet when I turned the "stub" shaft I turned it to .503 and test fit it, it was a really firm fit so I backed it off to .502 .now when i lock up the collet there is no slippage ;D so this suggests to me that when they were made that they were drilled incorrectly all this machining and making tools before any real projects has become a hobby in itself :big: thanx smitty
