Unusualboiler water feed pump

Hi,

Unlike some I haven't been eating and drinking too much over the festive season, well not much. Our family Christmas was a week or so before Christmas which was the only time we could all get together in the same place. So, as the weather was fairly kind SWMBO played in her garden and suprise, surprise I was in my shed, which is considered by some the best place for me. I managed to complete the water feed pump on the model steam engine I have been playing with, the result.

How well does it pump against boiler pressure? I can't see any form of gland around the pump ram which might cause leaks or loss of pressure

Hi Jason,

I don't know how well the pump will work against boiler pressure yet, as to sealing there are a couple of '0' rings on the pump ram.
