I spent last Sunday doing computer set ups at my Wife's office.
While the computers were doing their thing, I took a walk through the
company's gun shop.

I found this cool little Ithaca Saddle Gun carbine in used gun the racks.
22 caliber, tube fed and grooved for a scope.
They were manufactured for only for 5 years, from 1973 to 1978 and it
was the first time I had ever seen one in person.

Long story shortened, the company's owner offered to pay me for the I.T. work
with the rifle. All I had to do was sign the transfer papers.

$17.99 for a cheap Tasco 3-9X scope and I ended up with this:

Not bad pay for 5 hours work!

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but the empty soup cans in the recycle
bin on the back porch are already rattling with fear. :D

(Bunnies and Squirrels, fear not, this is strictly a plinker.) ;)

Nice paycheck Rick. From the picture it looks to be in fine condition too. Guess you'll be eating more soup for a while too :big:
