I spent last Sunday doing computer set ups at my Wife's office.
While the computers were doing their thing, I took a walk through the
company's gun shop.
I found this cool little Ithaca Saddle Gun carbine in used gun the racks.
22 caliber, tube fed and grooved for a scope.
They were manufactured for only for 5 years, from 1973 to 1978 and it
was the first time I had ever seen one in person.
Long story shortened, the company's owner offered to pay me for the I.T. work
with the rifle. All I had to do was sign the transfer papers.
$17.99 for a cheap Tasco 3-9X scope and I ended up with this:
Not bad pay for 5 hours work!
I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but the empty soup cans in the recycle
bin on the back porch are already rattling with fear.
(Bunnies and Squirrels, fear not, this is strictly a plinker.)
