Since I am in total time wasting mode this morning, and since I had my digital camera out anyways, I thought you might find this video a bit entertaining. This is the very first thing I built after I got my lathe and mill, a couple of years ago. It doesn't have enough power to run anything, but it amuses the grandkids (and me). First thing I do every morning when I get up is look out the back window of my bedroom and see if its still running. It always makes me smile!!

That was great. And it points out several of the great things about this hobby (and/or job)...the fact that you get an idea...and you can bring it to life.

I've always liked things like that. Thanks Brian.

Brian,

I like it, I have seen some things that turn in the wind that are quite interesting. I have an idea for one, and have collected most of the parts, now if I can get the welder back from my son :-\

Very nice. I've always been a fan of wind chimes, a water chime/waterwheel is much cooler. ;D

Well actually, I bought them all at the local "Dollar Store".---The salesgirl asked if I was a cook for a big summer camp or something!!!

Nice work Brian!
The wife really loves it too.
She wants to know how long it will be until
I make one for her. ;)

Great project, Brian. Now, if I only had a stream in my backyard...
