With the economy the way it is, and here in the states the frenzy about selling your old broken and scrap gold, it only went up 25% in 2009.
While what they didn't tell you
Aluminum went up 36%
Lead went up 124%
Steel went up 115%
Copper went up 131%
Here's the story

the story they didn't tell us on the news

So if you have $20.00 in pre 1981 pennies they are worth about $42.92 melt valve.

Glen,

How right you are.

One of the main reasons I have not attempted a boiler is:

150mm solid drawn copper pipe with 2mm wall thickness, minimum purchase 1m length, price $AU800. Yes those are the correct number of zeros.

This combined with my skill and confidence level put a boiler very much on the back burner so to speak.

Best Regards
Bob
