As Many of you Know I am a member of the Hagley Museum. For those of you who do not know this museum is a partial restoration of the Original Dupont powder works on the brandywine river in Wilmington DE.My favorite part of the museum ins the 1870s vintage millwright shop /Machine shop.
As a member I get e-mails telling of special events and promos.
So what is a Sunday Sampler? It is a special deal on Sundays during February and March allowing visitors to sample the museum. You can either visit the powder yards and workers hill (including the machine shop) OR take the mansion tour for the reduced rate of $ 5 or do both for $10 Normal rates Adults$ 14 seniors and students $ 10 and kids $ 5 . So anyone who wants to take a Sunday or part of one and visit a great museum and a great machine shop recreation/restoration and you live in NJ DE or SE Pa now is a great time.
